The myVRM story
 
“There’s got to be a better way!”
myVRM CEO Larry Roher and team heard this sentiment echoed for more than ten years by nearly
every conference coordinator with whom they worked. Although each company employed
different processes and protocols for scheduling, they found commonality in the fact that none of
the methods were altogether easy, efficient or cost-effective. Regardless of size or vertical, these
pain points were universal.

In an effort to provide the exceptional customer service, Larry and his team decided to address
these issues. Field specialists spent time listening to their customers’ frustrations and desires, and
learned specifically what was needed to streamline and simplify this arduous task.
Then they took this information to their software engineers, and challenged them to make an
interface that could eliminate the problems, enhance the process, exist on any platform and ease all conference management headaches. “Most importantly,” they added, “it must be user-friendly.”

The creative and talented myVRM software engineers embraced the challenge. They set to work
immediately, creating a program that would not only solve current issues, but also be adaptable
to constantly-changing technology.
After two years of development, the Versatile Resource Manager (myVRM) was introduced to
several key accounts for real-world testing. In the months that followed, thousands of users
scheduled tens of thousands of conferences using myVRM.
As expected, this testing revealed a few inconsistencies in the initial program however, these
issues were resolved with minor tweaks and adjustments. The core program proved to be stable,effective and easily adaptable.And, according to thousands of users, surprisingly simple.

 The overwhelming amount of positive feedback received demonstrates that myVRM has reached
its goal of providing an easy to use, efficient and effective conference management solution.
The testing and feedback also confirms that myVRM works just as well for live meetings as it does
for videoconferencing. Because of the extensive market potential for this program, the myVRM
team has decided to partner with other reputable companies who want to offer their clients “a
better way” to manage conferences.
